When Aural Archipelago's Palmer Keen shared the recording of Ratapan, a traditional ritual in North Central Timor, we initially carried away with sadness, but the weird thing it was tranquilize sadness, drifting at peace.

Ratapan is an adaptation of sorrow composed in a song. We very much like it so it could be a power for contemplating. The choir in
Ratapan gave huge energy to sway spiritual journey to God.
